These clients wanted to utilize their spacious deck more often, but had several issues that needed to be addressed. The area was often too hot in the daytime, too dark at night, and the furniture stayed wet long after a brief rain shower. The prefabricated awning they purchased was simply not fulfilling those needs.

Through attentive design we were able to create a structure that matched the home’s unique architecture, and provided the maximum amount of rain and sun protection without interrupting the expansive views. Additional details such as: a power outlet for laptops, dimmable recessed cans, and a large ceiling fan help make the space more inviting for work, entertaining or just relaxing with a good book on a nice evening.

Before
